Chassis/Engine Repair / Re: how do I know if my fan is working correctly?
Last post by journeyman -That should be a pretty simple test to heat it up (maybe block airflow while idling with cardboard?) and observe the fan

General Repair / Re: HWH Hydraulic Slides Creeping In
Last post by Smitty -Cam, this is usually caused by a leaking solenoid valve on the HWH Valve on top of the pump. You can replace these 2 valve but it may be best to all 4 of them that control those 2 slides. The from drivers side slide has a synchronizing cylinder that can also allow the slide to creep. You can see this synchronizing cylinder by looking in the fuel tank inspection door on the passenger side and see if you see hydraulic oil coming out of one of them, there are 2 synchronizing cylinders in that compartment, 1 is for drivers side front slide and the other 1 is the passenger side front slide. The rear slide is a single cylinder slide and and does not have a synchronizing cylinder.
Way cool input on what to look for!
Salute,
Smitty

Site Instructional Guides / passenger seat footrest gearbox and motor
Last post by pwm -my passenger seat footrest motor/gearbox is not working. I have removed it from the seat and am looking for help in finding replacement parts or if no longer available, what have others done to fix? I have a 2000 country coach prevost conversion. I am sure this has been discussed, but I can't figure out how to search the forum.

General Repair / HWH Hydraulic Slides Creeping In
Last post by CamDaddy -When I'm parked for any length of time with my slides extended, my 2 driver's side slides creep in about an inch or so on their own. I went to my run bay and saw that there is a small amount of hydraulic fluid on the floor of the run bay directly underneath the hydraulic assembly. Obviously there is a leak somewhere, but does anyone know of a quick fix? The hydraulic lines all appear to be tight. Is this an indication of something that has failed or is something loose that I'm not seeing?
Thanks,
Cam
