Recently I discovered that when I click "lock" on the remote, the door does not lock. The alarm is set on the basement doors. When I click "unlock", the light comes on inside like it is supposed to. Everything seems fine except that the door does not lock and unlock. It started this a few days ago, then started working properly for a day or so, then quit again. Has anybody else had a problem with the alarm system. Any ideas as to how to correct this?

Thanks,

Jurhee

I had that problem with my coach about a month ago. In fact, one of my posts mentioned the problem, but it probably got lost in the Hurricane problems.

Anyway, there is a wire that runs from the door to the coach through the door jam. This wire was severed, I guess from having the door open and close. Check your door jam and see if the wire is cut.
