I for one do not like not being free to back up when traveling with a Toad. I do not want to pull an enclosed trailer. I like the freedom of traveling without a Toad, but I want that Toad when I get to the travel point. This has been an ongoing problem for me. So as an inventor I have tried to find an answer that works, a way to have the Toad with me, be able to back up at will, not be limited on any turn, and to not have a storage problem at camp sites. I think I have found an answer, but at this time I cannot share many details, until I have protected the idea with a patent filing. However I am curious to fine out if others share these strong feeling when it comes to towing a Toad. I like the freedom to pull into a parking lot and know if I have to I can back out. The device I have come up with will allow you to back up as if there was no Toad. It cannot jack knife, and it will not increase your overhang swing. It will track inside the coach wheel path and it does not require special storage area at a campsite. Presently I am only looking at smaller toads, but size is not a real issue if someone wants a big SUV things just get a little bigger. If you can give me your ideas on Toads.
PS if you are interested go to page 59 January 03 Motor Home magazine, you will see the first Blue Ox ad for one of my inventions a Patented Steering Stabilizer with on the fly trimming Thanks in advance for any input on this subject John D. 2002 Royale XLII
