Today while driving through Omaha, NE we hit a pothole so hard that we lost a hub cap. I remember this being a topic of discussion several months ago. Does anyone know where to get a replacement?

I live in Omaha and empathize...as Paul Harvey would have said..Now the rest of the story.
We have a 2007 Allure that needs a factory original, believe it or not I was driving in Omaha, thought it was yesterday and saw a hubcap like mine near the median and was going to circle back to check it out or pick it up when a vehicle behind me crushed it. Don't remember the exact location.
It's probably good that I didn't get to it in time because your mail would have highly challenged my ethics...that said we too need one and would prefer to find a genuine CC. Presently we have it covered with a poor truck stop version.

I got mine at a Frieghtliner truck place in Orlando for about $10 each. Ordered over the phone and they sent them to me. They don't have the CC logo. I don't have the contact info with me right now.

I believe that Kevin Waite ( kvn.wt.7629@... (kvn.wt.7629@...) ) either has or has access to the caps you want. The "real things" are probably a little heavier gauge and it's always nice to have all original even at a premium.
I need one myself, just haven't got it ordered yet, but won't install until someone can provide a suggestion on how better to retain them. Would rather litter the roadside with $5 caps than $45 caps. Now that the great suggestions from this group have helped reduce bottoming situation I haven't lost a cap in some time.
