Does anyone have an upgrade source for the wire that runs between the door jamb and the door.. the one that powers the electric lock? Love to replace it once and not have to do it again..
Thanks in advance

4 conductor (it looks like)

I replaced mine about two years ago. The original wiring was 4 conductor telephone wire. The wires were very flimsy, I used 2 conductor lamp wire 14 Gage I believe. They only used 2 conductors of the 4 and I think they paralleled them. I made sure the new wire retracted into the door by putting a small spring on it. So far it is working exactly like I planned.
