I am looking for an older 40'Intrigue, preferably with living room slides. This is Matt Carr, former Plant Manager of the Cabinet shop at Country Coach. After 22 years of service, I have left to pursue my own shop. I figured I built enough coaches, I should finally enjoy one for me and my wife. Some of you probably remember me from the factory day tours. Won't be doing those anymore. Looking forward to being part of this exciting group.

Matt,

You have to define "older". As far as I am concerned, a '00 to '02 will fit your bill. I have an '02 #11427,probably one of the last single axle 40 footers made back in the era of National ownership. The older coaches have a single front and rear slide and are bullet proof.
From the mechanics (that were) at CC, they say that these years are the best and so far I totally agree with them. Very easy to work on, simple systems, no frills, and they still look good.

Thanks Jim,

I have to admit, reading all of everyones corespondence on travel destinations, campgrounds etc... is pretty exciting. It has given me a totally refreshed sence of adventure. Ive decided to go to the Factory Rally in Albaney, Or next week. Instead of giving seminars and working on the coaches. I hope to have an oportunity to possibly find a great deal on a coach. Maybe I can get involved with the group there some how. I still build cabinets and counter tops with my business (Carr Industries) so I can't be there the whole time. My cell # is 541-968-1888. I would love to set down and here all of the exciting things you folks have been doing.
