Yahoo Message Number: 50832 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/50832)Don't remember where I left off so will start at Coeur d'Alene. Stayed at Blackwell Island but got booted out after two nights. They were booked full with Canadians. Decent park but nothing great. On to Polson, Mt and the new Polson RV Resort. First class but expensive. Then to the KOA at St. Mary, Glacier Nat Park. Great place to visit but sure didn't think much of the KOA. Then to Great Falls, Mt. Stayed at Dick's RV Park. A family run, friendly park. A bit old but we enjoyed the stay. Met an eight coach convoy from North Caroline on their way to Glacier. Neat folks. Really enjoyed the Charles Russell Western Art Museum. A really awesome display of his work and a few others. Highly recommend a stop there. Now at the Yellowstone Grizzley RV Park. A very nice park with long pull throughs. Tried to visit the Nat Park this morning but finally turned back. From the west entrance we made eight miles in almost one hour. The traffic jam reminded me of a Los Angeles freeway accident conflagaration. Headed for Jackson, Wy tomorrow. Road reports available if anyone needs them.

We ran into the same traffic jam when we were there last month. Turns out that there is an eagle's nest right next to the road that is causing the traffic jam as people stop to get a photo of the juveniles in the nest. Once past there, no traffic to speak of for the rest of the day through Old Faithful, etc. We were within 5 minutes of the time we had decided that we would turn around when we got past the jam.
Try again! Pat

Grizzly is a very nice park. Yes, they are very full. We could not get a pull-through (premium)site. We were in a short back-in backed up to the National Forrest. That was nice and we could walk our dogs through the forest. On a minor sour note their wi-fi for non-premium sites is real mickey mouse. They gave us two coupons that allowed us two hours of online time during a ten hour period. Once per coupon. What they didn't tell us was that the two hours kept running after we had shut down after just a few minutes online. Thus, when we tried to log on later in the day our time was gone. You can, however, buy more time through their Nomad ISP. Some customers are better than others? The park was a mob of people. Not fun. Early in the day traffic is jammed up for miles. Afernoons are better. Hope you have fun despite the crowds. Lyle

Yahoo Message Number: 50864 (http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Country-Coach-Owners/conversations/messages/50864)Those traffic problems are the reasons that we prefer to stay in the park at Fishing Bridge Campground. Maybe not as fancy but certainly more convenient to everything. Also a lot cheaper. George '04 Inspire 51061
