When my Webasto furnace is running I get a lot of knocking sounds from the vicinity of the hot water tank. I don't hear it when the furnace is not running. It sounds like a water heater when it is getting limed up and knocks whem steam forms inside the tank. I don't know why it would only do it with the furnace heating the water. I've drained the water tank to make sure there is an air pocket in the tank. I've run the hot water when to relieve the pressure with no help. I'm now wondering if it is air in the lines causing it or maybe air in the coolant lines and it just sounds like the hot water heater. Anybody had this problem. jerry in NM, '00 Magna.
