The seal on the top of my driver's side slide has a three inch tear at one end. How big a deal is it to replace this seal? Looking for ideas on where to obtain the seal and who could do the work.

Thanks

Hello group,

CC Affinity 42' with tag 6004

I am trying to replace the slide seal across the bottom of our bedroom slide. I have the piece, but having tried about every way possible, I just dont see how to get it in there.
Is there some magic method you know of to get the material up and over the lip ? I have more clearance at the middle of the slide, so I have kind of tried to slip in over the metal lip at the center, not seat it, and then pull it towards one end.
that has come the closest to working, but honestly, that is not saying much.

Any advice would be welcome.

thank you,

Just an idea having never tried this myself, but maybe if you haven't already, try using some liquid soap on the seal to allow it slide?
