I have a 1997 Intrigue and would like to remove the VCR and place my DirectTv box in its place. I removed the bedroom TV but could still not gain access to the VCR, How do you get it out of that cabinet.

I have a 2000 Affinity and just changed out the vcr. It was double back taped to the cabinit floor. I actually had to break the feet off with a screwdriver to get them off. Great tape they used. The wood around the face had 4 square drive screws in them.

Thanks Kevin. I was afraid that was the what they used. I don't have any wood face it is just a hole in the cabinet wall with no apparent access from above or below. It is a very tight fit, no room to rock it to break the tape loose. I am thinking of trying one of those thin blades used to open locked car doors to free the tape.

Bob,

take a good look at that cabinet wall. I'll bet it has 4 square bit screws holding it on. They would be on the outer edge of the "cabinet wall". A slow constat pressure on the seem should work, I was impatient as my vcr had failed and I was replacing it with a vcr/dvd combo.
