Been gone for awhile. Any up-date on the future of CC? Up for sale, buyers out there, re-open or just closed down for good. Any news rumors or talk out there ?

Hope everone is enjoying things, drive safe and take care.

Chris

Judge ordered and signed chapter 7 bankruptcy right before Thanksgiving...liquidation auction is scheduled to start Feb. 4th.
Right now it looks like its down for good.

Bob Lee told a member of our club that to a large degree he thinks the era of big expensive motor homes is over. He also said in a TV interview with a station in Oregon that he did not think he could put together the resources to start another company like CC. There will always be people who want a Prevost conversion or a Winnebago. Bob seems to think the trend is moving more to the towable market. Time will either prove him right or wrong!

Hi:

Expensive coaches may come back. It will be a long time from today. Thank God I have my CC Coach. If I had to abandon it I would get an Airstream Trailer. I had 3 prior to owning 2 Country Coaches. Airstream's Wally Byam Travel group is great. Lots of distant and close events and many of them.

Especially true, given the current disastrous political climate

in the new Peoples Republic Of The US.

Have not heard much since the Country Coach auction in Junction City last spring when the Lee's purchased a lot of drawings, information and other key elements the could get them back in the business of building motorhomes. Any one know what their plans and timetable are?
