Title: Backup Camera Inoperative after Battery Disconnect

2002 Intrigue 36'. During service, batteries were disconnected and then reconnected.
The dash LCD unit is a Panasonic CQ-VA707WEUC.
Problem 1 - CAMERA - I had to reset the clock and other parameters on the in-dash LCD monitor after power was restored but I'm getting no back-up camera image. I've gone through all camera and screen settings on the dash unit with no luck. Is there a fuse associated with the camera and if so, where might it be hidden?
Problem 2 - RADIO - I realize that although I get an on-screen display of the radio and can tune to different bands and frequencies, I get no radio audio through the speakers. I do however get the "beep" through the speakers as I perform each setting with the remote indicating that the connection between the dash unit and the speakers seems OK.
According to some of my notes and diagrams, there is a unit in the overhead identified as Riverpark Mobile Theater model MTSAMP-03 (CC part number 23506) that interfaces with the dash radio, TV, and speakers. The camera does not appear to go through this unit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please disregard "Problem 1". I got the camera working. It was operator error. Sorry about that! But "Problem 2" still persists and I've exhausted all possible settings on that %@* in-dash Panasonic unit. So now I'm down to the problem that either a CD signal comes into the dash unit or the radio tunes to a radio station yet the sound doesn't get to the speakers. Yes I've checked the Mute and the Volume settings.

Steve the last time I had to reset was when I got new batteries. My memory says it is the the radio set up. The camera defaults to off, you need to turn it on. The actual steps to get there I am not sure off. All of the questions are in the radio set-up.

We had the same setup issue as Jim, It was in our Pioneer setup..

Not hard to do, once you find the setup screen.

Steve, here is a link to the operators manual for your Panasonic. That may help you with your problem.

Hi Steve,

See page 30-32 for the anti-theft ID code that needs to be entered if the 12 VDC is disconnected from the unit. This confirms the information I sent you off group. Hope you have the code written down somewhere. I would encourage others with a similiar system to enter and write down their ID code. Good luck,

Thanks to all who replied. When the power was returned to the dash radio, the default had the camera off AND the radio off. This was not readily obvious. As I wrote earlier, some tinkering with settings got the camera back on. But I tried every combination of settings and still couldn't get the radio to work. It had nothing to do with an ID Code since I never set one. I found that if you either never set it or if you intentionally unset it, powering off and on won't require entry of the code.
But some of the comments received got me to look in another place and that's when I went to the " Main In" option under the "User" menu and switched the setting to "Off" and suddenly the radio sound came "on"! It is an understatement to say that this is not an intuitively simple device to operate and set up. So I'm back in business and thanks to all who offered suggestions. That is what encouraged me to continue fiddling with settings.
