Hi Tommy,

Have you run channel setup from the TV's menu? Can you let us know what brand and model tv? Do you get the other channels using the TV remote that came with the TV?

I have a sharp aquos hd and yes I have done the set-up everyway I can but can only get the first 20 channels but the bedroom tv gets app. 60 channels the tv remote has the same results. The bd tv is not hd and has a converter box that has to be off to get cable. I have sat so it is not a big deal but thought there might be something I was doing wrong.

Hi Tommy,

Is there a long distance from your coach to the spot the cable signal originates? It is possible that you may need a signal amplifier.

I think I can. When you set up at each park, you must go to the menu key on the remote and select set after pushing the menu key. Set-up is for the TV for cable. It will vary at every spot. You also have to do the same for the back TV. Take the EZ set-up you will see the TV search for the channels. The park usually has a directory and now it will work. You will get no more channels that the park purchases from there provider. Now with Sat. it is different, you don't need to set up so to speak and you get more channels that one can handle, and some are real crap.

Hi Tommy,

We have the Sharp Aquos HD in our home along with numerous other regular TV's. The HD TV is the first to lose signal (stations and tiling) when there is drain on the cable, even though it is not the last in line. (We are the last house on the cable on the street and everytime someone else gets a new cable service we used to lose stations :-( An amplifier on the cable where it comes into the house solved the problem.

Tommy, I had the exact same problem. I tried everything, but couldn't get my Aquos to get but a limited number of channels . My cheap (boat anchor) rear TV would get many, many more channels. Maybe two to three times as many. This is worth a try and shouldn't take but 10-15 minutes. As you look at your TV you will probably have a cabinet on the right side. You can open that cabinet and there should be panel that will give you access to the right side of the TV where the coaxial cable attaches to the TV. The TV has two places to attach the coaxial, "cable in" or "air in". Move the coaxial to the other input from where it is, then go thru your normal channel search and see what happens. You will actually want to buy a splitter so that you can use both inputs, but do the test first. This solved my problem, and I bet it will yours also.
