The Kwikee steps on my Lexa CC have decided to not retract. I find myself in Redding, CA on a trip and looking for a local rv service / repair company. Your suggestions are invited. Thanks

I would check the fuse first. Mine is in the electrical bay below the driver's seat. If it's the motor, some have had luck by tapping on the motor with a small hammer. Of course, this is only a temporary fix.

I had a problem on the road a couple of years ago and went to Redding RV, nice folks. They squeezed me in, even though it was a Friday of a holiday weekend. Got me fixed in a reasonable amount of time and back on the road.
It seems to me there are a lot of posts on this, and other, forums regarding Kwikee step problems. I would be nice if Kwikee stepped up and offered us some advice. Perhaps they have and I have not seen it.

Try cleaning the brass door contacts with a pencil eraser.
