Hi All:

We are having a problem with the two burner Princess lighting alright but the flame goes out immediately when we let up on the control knob.
Both burners do the same thing.
Thanks,
Phil

sounds like a problem with the flame (heat) detector circuit. Since both burners exhibit the problem it is probably not associated with the individual thermocouples that are near the flame, but instead the circuit that allows the gas to keep flowing only if heat is detected.
I don't have my Princess manual with me right now, but I bet there is a circuit board where the thermocouple signals come in which needs to be replaced.

Phil,

That has happened to us at times, I just hold the control knob down while turning the knob slightly and then release, that seems to work most of the time.
