I just bought a 1998 CC Intrigue and I know it has an onboard air compresser. Can someone tell me where it is located and if I need to drain water out of the air tank?

Jimmy I have a 98 Intrigue also. I have only had it for about a month. But I believe the 12v compressor is located in the compartment under the driver seat just forward of the front tire.

ygrps-yiv-721391165 v0003a* { } Ok JImmy the air compressor is on the motor. If you open the back hach and look behind the oil filler neck you mite be able to see the compressor under the injector pump. Not to make anyone mad but the pump in the front drivers side well is for the vacuum on the front heater dampers. Also in this compartment are the 3 manual valves for releasing the air to bleed out water.

I hope this is a help

I believe you will find that is the vacuum compressor for the heating and air conditioning controls. The onboard air compressor is mounted on the engine on the pass side rear. It has a governor on it to provide air output up to about 125psig. Hope this helps.

No, there is a 12 volt compressor under the driver's seat, that supplies air to the leveling system when the engine is off.

There is a compressor up in the front of the coach. I raised up the coach so I can get my not so small butt under the coach to look at the starter. when I pushed on the raise button on the HWH leveling system a compressor in the front of the coach came on to supply air since the main engine was not running.
