Does anyone know what a part# for Napa would be for the oil filter for a Cummins ISC 350? And, just to be sure, it is that giant black thing next to the water filter, right?

Not sure about NAPA but Car Quest has WIX filters and the filter number is, Car Quest Part number 85748 and WIX number is 51748.
$42.00 at my local Car Quest parts store.

AL,

I see that oil filter is also available as an 1748 XD , which is a larger capacity filter and of course more money. The 1748 will work just fine on our applications.

Ray:

I buy my oil, fuel and air filters from Inland Truck Parts in Irving TX. Call 1-972-438-1406.
For my C9 the air filter was $101.78, the fuel filter was $18.60, and the oil filter was $18.21.
The oil filter is made by Baldwin and was about $42 at the local NAPA store.
The air filter was by Fleetguard and the fuel filter is by Cat.
I learned about Inland from their ad in the FMCA magazine.

Al,

The Fleetguard oil filer used in our Cummins engine is: LF 9009 Since Fleetguard is owned by Cummins and their filters are about as reasonable as any. I use their oil and fuel filters, so if I have an engine failure due to a filter, I can go at them from both directions (not that in a million years we would be able to prove that it was the filter).

If it is a LF9009 the Cummins Fleetguard is available at Filterbarn.com for $26.
I order all the fuel, oil, coolant, hydraulic and air filters I need from them and get free shipping for an order over $100.
My records indicate I save about 40% using the Cummins Filtration, Fleetguard filters.
