I have the leaking condenser off and will replace it (or perhaps have it repaired if it really appears to be in good shape). Regardless of new or repaired, how do I re-attached it to the radiator. (Have you eveer looked to see how the late 90's and early few years in 2000+ were attached. They used plastic "strips" put through the radiator to hold them together. I guess they used a special tool to put the plastic thrrough the radiator and the end opened like a wall anchor through wallboard. Is this a standard method of attaching a condenser to a radiator by truck repair places? I suspect the condenser was attached before the radiator was installed, or from the inside before the fan was installed.
I would like to know how others have solved this problem.
I would also like to know where you can buy a new condenser for the most reasonable price. And, what should I ask for? I don't see any name or identifing number any where on the condenser on in my books.

I can't help with a source but I can tell you that condensers are rated in BTU capacity. I don't know what your capacity is but the 2004 Allure has a chassis A/C rated at 18,000 BTU if I remember correctly. The condenser must at least match that in order to remove heat as effectively as the original.
I would talk to Evans Tempcon about it.
