Has anyone broken the screen door latch on their '02? After a little searching, I found the latch from Camper's Choice for $7.95.
Mod#H242. I don't know what years CC used this same latch but it was after '01.

Don,

That is a great price, we paid $20 at Lazy Days and that was for the latch that Monoco uses which also fits CC. They also had the exact latch the CC uses and that was $60 but the parts clerk told me about the Monoco latch. We have broken ours twice so I carry a spare.

Ooooops, I guess I should not mention the $3.29 I paid for an off the shelf screen door latch at a local hardware store in Portland, Oregon. They were so cheap that I'm carrying two extras for our '01 Intrigue #11219. I guess the Oil companies are not the only orgainzations that will charge what the market will "bare"..

Lee from Portland Oregun, where gas prices are cheaper across the river in Vancouver, Washington. The state of Oregon is also in "the charge what it can on fuel taxes..."

Ouch! Did you get kissed? I can't believe that a plastic latch would be 60 bucks! Don't want to know what CC would charge. I took the latch off the coach and on the backside was the mfg name. It was local but I found their web site and the latch was listed. I called them but they do not sell to Joe Consumer. They told me to contact Camper's Choice so I did. Received them in the mail yesterday along with a catalog and they are listed in it.

If memory serves me, I don't think the screen door latch on the '01 and '02 Intrigues are the same. I think there was a change in the door set starting with '02. I think there has been a change starting with '02 also.

Don,

The first 2001 screen doors do not have a plastic handle. It looks like a steel casting that is crome plated. When I forget to lock it into the main door and close the door the casting cracks under the pressure of the door. I couldn't find it at the local stores but we don,t live in a big area.
