Hello group;

This is Craig Garrison, formerly of Rixens Enterprises, Inc. and now with International Thermal Research. ITR is the manufacturer of the Hurricane heating system and I will be head of US operations, based in Vancouver, Washington. ITR has taken over the service, warranty and tech support functions for the Hurricane furnace system and my job is to form an organization that will meet the needs of our owners with the mandate to improve both the system and the support for the system. Our Vancouver, WA facility will have a full service bay and I have already hired a RVIA Master tech to head up the service operation. My plan is to have at least 3 techs in the field at every major show and/or rally.
Now, I need some help. We are developing this as we speak, but we will not be fully up to speed by the time of the Pomona FMCA so I need your help in identifying who will be there and the most efficient way to contact you so that we can see as many people as possible at the show. Please contact me at craig.garrison@... (craig.garrison@...) and give me some way to contact you at the rally and show so I can schedule the work load as much as possible. Let your friends know who don't watch the group and have them contact me as well.
I intend to show all Country Coach owners and potential owners as well as the rest of the industry that the support for the Hurricane system is second to none and that the system itself is the best on the market. This is going to be a real opportunity to excel for next few months but I have the budget and the factory support to get this done. I appreciate the input that I get on this forum and we will include the group in all our electronic support. As soon as we have our service facility open, I will get the phone number and address out to all of you. For now, I am traveling so much that it will be hard to answer individual questions on the group but this will change once the facility is opened.

As some of you know, I have had repeated problems with my Hurricane, starting on the day of delivery of the coach at the factory until last Thursday. Each time that I had a problem, John Bickel at CC, Jim Rixen at Hurricane and Craig Garrison (now ITR) have gone out of there way to help me get the problem solved.

On Thursday, Mar 5, I had another error code on the Hurricane. This time it was a 5 code (Combustion Fan). I have no idea what a combustion fan does, but if it has a 5 code, it shuts down the Hurricane. I called John Bickel (I always call John Bickel so I do not have to talk to a different tech each time I have a question or problem) and said that I have had it with this Hurricane. John calmed me down and said he would call me right back.

Well, to make a long story short, Craig Garrison called my back 1/2 hour later and said enough is enough with that Hurricane and he shipped me a new Hurricane over night air express to Freedom RV in Denver. Four hours after I arrived at Freedom RV, I had a new Hurricane installed. The new Hurricane is working flawlessly, but the real message of this story is the continued support and concern shown by John Bickel, Jim Rixen and Craig Garrison!!!

Thank you very much!!
