One of our girls lives in Asheville and we go there all the time.
I stay at Wilson's Riverfront RV park. Some people don't like it but it's a nice place to stay and some of the sites are on the river.

We like Tom Johnston's New Park at Marion, that is about 30mi S of Ashville, beautiful area...

Marta we've stayed at bear creek before close sites but nice I think most if not all are back in sites
