Anyone used the Lucas Fuel treatment and did you notice a difference? Looking to hopefully get more power up hills.
And anyone else with a Silver Leaf monitor experience 0 MPG when coasting? I am told by Silver Leaf that it is a CAT software problem. What say you guys/gals?

Yes, mine does this when your foot is off the gas.

Mine, a Cat, registers 256 mpg when coasting or going downhill/no throttle. The number is meaningless being generated by the software in the program.

Jon,
There was a very complete analysis presented here on fuel additives several months ago, you should be able to find it in the files section. There were a number of products tested and with the specific testing procedures used, believe a product called Opti-Lube came out on top.

Here's a link to a copy of a diesel additive study. Out of 19 additives, Lucas was #14. http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/alternative-fuels-additives-oils-lubricant (http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/alternative-fuels-additives-oils-lubricant) .
