This is a neat site, plot your course and it gives you fuel stops along the way. Been using it for quite a while, works good for us.

Joe n Judy,

Very useful site. I will be needing to fuel up soon so I used it today and planned my trip from Santa Maria, CA to Morgan Hill, CA. It is great! No more guesswork. I found 10 fuel sources along the way.
Thanks for passing this info along to us.

Another one that I used on our recent trip to Virginia is this one.

http://m.allstays.com/ (http://m.allstays.com/)
It list all exits on the interstate and then tells what is available there. Also give rest areas. I got it for the iPhone and used it exclusively to find evrything that I wanted. On the iphone app it will locate your position and then will tell you how far it is to where ever you tell it that yu are wanting to go. I think it is $2.99 for the iPhone app. You can download a PC program for free.

Egon,

I have found that m.allstays.com doesn't seem to keep current. I have passed several exits where it doesn't show fuel available but there is fuel availability. (new 3-yr-old Flying J in one case). I never did find out how to contact anyone to correct entries.
