I've read good info on East County Alignment, Trueline in El Cajon, but not specifically for DynoMax.
I have heard good things too about Redlands and Colton, within a few hour drive.
I would like to get the alignment and height level checked before an upcoming trip in September.
Southern California recommended Alignment shops appreciated.
Thanks,
Smitty

About 3 years ago I had East County Alignment work on my GMC motor home. They did a very good job.

Smitty,
I would call Colton truck as ask them if they recommend someone in San Diego for you. I would also see if they do it as well. They have done great work for us but we have not had an alignment done. You might see if Holland recommends someone.

I am currently in central NH and need to get my front end aligned. We are working our way west through Montpelier and Burlington, VT then northern NY. Any recommendations?

Whereabouts in Central NH? I am in Bridgewater, NH and have a truck shop that does my diesel service etc. He does not do alignments but I bet he has somewhere he sends his big truck customers. I could give him a call or give you his number. What is making you believe that you need an alignment not that it is any of my business.

Don,
I'm currently in Ashland, I-93 exit 24. I found a place in Burlington, VT but of course I know nothing about them. The outside edge of my right front is wearing very fast. It doesn't pull, however. The tire has 13,000 miles on it and the only noticeable wear is the outer edge. It was aligned when the tire was replaced 18 months ago.

? Jerry I am only about a mile from the Ashland line. Are you in a compground? if so which one. If not I can take you to a great big rig park only a few mile away in Bridgewater so you can take the time to sort it out.
I will call VTR and get back to you.
Do you have a cell phone number.
Mine is 603 496 8534 and my wife's is 603 496 2828

Don,
We are at Ames Brook CG, site 70. It was hard to get into and it will be even more difficult to get out. Our cell phones only work when standing by the road in front of the office. However, we have good WiFi. This will not be on my list of CG's to return to.

Jerry.
According to VTR they send their trucks to:
Patsy's Auto Body and Alignment Shop 62 Basin St.
Concord, NH
603 226 4600
Concord is roughly 50 miles south of Ashland just guessing.
Let me know how you make out

Jerry, if your front tires are by chance Goodyear G670s, that wear pattern is a common problem with that tire and you may not have an alignment problem.

Lee,
I heard that same story from an Allegro Bus owner. He was told by Tiffin to switch brands even though the coach came with G670's. Do you have any idea why this happens? Don Seager came by today and we discovered that the left tire also wearing funny, although not as bad as the right. I have an appointment Friday in Essex Jct, VT to check the alignment.

Jerry, it turns out that Don Seager is a personal friend . . . and a very bright and knowledgeable motorhome guy. I did exchange emails with him about your situation about 30 minutes ago. In response to his email to me I said . . .
"Hey Don. The wear I'm talking about would be consistent right and left tires and only be the outside tread. It does sound like there is another problem like alignment, but I'd still say the outer tread wear on the G670 is still there, exacerbating the wear patterns and making the situation look worse.
I first saw the bad G670 wear pattern on my front tires around 15,000 and it got bad in the upper 20,000s. I replaced them with Michelins at 29,000."
Jerry, as I understand it the Goodyear engineering and design of the G670 causes the abnormal steer tire wear, but the tires are excellent on the rear axles.

Lee & Don,
I'm currently in Burlington waiting on my Friday appointment with the alignment guy. I thought I would spend this time looking for tires. If I can't find anything here we will be going to NY. There is a Camping World in Amsterdam and I assume many tire dealers near Schenectady. Any suggestions?

I had very abnormal wear on the Goodyears that came on my 06 Magna. I had the alignment checked and no problem. I had to replace the frt tires at 21,000. I put the same Toyos that came new on my 03 Magna and they are wearning like iorn with 10,000 on them so far. I would not recommend putting the goodyears back on. The Toyo is cheaper anyhow Bill Musson 6670
