I wanted to provide some feedback on my adjusting the ride height and Koni shocks last week. On my 34' 2005 Allure, I had raised the front 1" to 1/4" over spec plus increased the shock dampening from level 2 to level 4 out of 5 (each level is 1/2 turn). I have 15,000 miles on the coach.
We traveled from the Phoenix area to California on Friday and from Blythe, we went south on Hwy 78 to Brawley. Hwy 78 has several sections labeled DIPS NEXT 5 MILES, the perfect test road. The worst of the dips have scrape marks dug into the asphault where others have made contact many times in the past.
At first I was cautions, but after a few whoop-de-dos, I slowed very little from 60mph and noted that not once did I hit bottom. The shock recovery (rebound) had noticably improved as well and the net result is that I am now completely satisfied with the overall ride. No further adjustments are necessary.

That sounds very cool. Know that road well, and it is a very good 'real world' test drive! Smitty
