Has anyone experienced problems with a leaking seal on the front drivers side slide at the forward lower corner? 05 Inspire 51494.

Ken,

We have had multiple leaks on the front drivers side slide. The worst was caused by the caulking on slide roof seams drying up. After that was fixed we still had a small leak that showed up on the carpet near the front edge of the drivers side slide. Fixed that, by removing the carpet near the wall in front of the slide with a needle nose pliers. I removed it very carefully one or two threads at a time until you could see that the carpet just barely touched the edge of the wall. That fixed the problem. I believe that some of the carpet extended past the seal and wicked water inside. You may have the same problem.

Dennis,

First thank you for the response... I have noticed that on top of the slide that the seals have dried out, I have re-calked both ends at the top side and bottoms outside as well. We hope this takes care of that... I have noticed water on the inside of the carpet as you indicated and will try pulling up the carpet there as well...

Thanks again for the info....
Ken
