I know that this has been discussed several times, but can not find the thread. Am needing the door handle for my '99 Allure. Can someone steer me to a thread or outlet for the item.

It's probably under "back up camera" everything else is.

Egon,

Is the handle broken or will it not stay closed? If it the latter, you can take it apart and replace the 2 small springs that push it into the close position.

Our inside door handle is getting very loose. It worries me that it will come off in our hand one day and lock us in, or out. It may be just the handle or the whole shaft that's loose. The door handle has a square 'chrome' textured plate. If that helps identify it.
There are 2 screws holding the plate on. (Inside view). If I undo these can I tighten anything or will it fly to pieces on me. (Usually happens to me!!).

It's a 2001 Intrigue.

Thanks.

Bruce

Bruce:

If you could email a picture of your entry door handle (Inside & Outside) to my personal email I may be able to get you a replacement.

Sending emails to you off the forum does not seem to be working, do you have a personal email?
