I have three slide-related problems I would like comment on:
1) If I level then extend the slide the coach goes out of level and I have to level again. I have now been extending the slide and then leveling without any detectable problems. This is based on our recent 10 week trip.
2) I had a problem of the slide not working and I had to manually release the hydraulic pressure by opening the valves then it would retract. I was holding the switch for a few seconds until the motor would strain. I now release the switch as soon as the slide room compresses the rubber gasket slightly. This seems to work once again based on our recent 10 week trip. But I never have had a problem of the slide creeping out during travel.
3) If I am at a campsite with the coach leveled and I need to turn
on the ignition to read the odometer or something on my Silver Leaf monitor the coach unlevels preparing for travel. Is there a procedure I am overlooking to avoid this?

George,
I think the design is for the leveling system to remain level until the parking break is released.... at least that's the way mine works and that my '98 Intrigue worked. I can turn the ignition on and off many times without any change in the leveling.
