1. Les Schwab Tires: six new ones were waiting for us (two last summer). Smart-tire reconfigured, the whole experience was quick, easy with great warm popcorn.

2. Davis Cabinets: The front stove-top corian was cracked. Went to Davis Cabinets and asked about making a new one. Got a quote which was very reasonable. Then, Keith took my cracked one back into the shop to find a sheet of corian that would match. He came back with two, my cracked one and a look-alike (made for some other coach probably). All I needed to do was dust it off. How much? Nada. Just take it. Whoa! Now that doesn't happen very often.

3. Innovative Coachworks; Matt Rossiter changed the in-motion satellite to HD and added over-air conversion. Excellent job. Stayed overnight in their fenced- in lot right in the heart of Junction City but far enough from the train tracks to not conjure up too many middle-of-the-night train memories from Camp Country Coach.

4. We pulled into the Oregon Motor Coach for our first experience for service there. We weren't there two minutes, still in the lot, and I noticed a pair of legs under the rear passenger side of the coach. I walked back and addressed the legs asking if something was wrong and a tech crawled out and said: "Nothing's wrong, just checking your PTO, it's wet, you're good. It's the first thing we do here". The rest of the experience was excellent. Our contact was Vern, a person who had worked on our coach at rally in Tucson and at rally in Albany, he remembered. Everything on our list was accomplished in 1 1/2 days. Our overnight stay there was quiet and peaceful, no trains. A wonderful visit with Pat Mason the next morning was frosting on the cake.

All-in-all, four great experiences in Junction City, the new one-stop quality service city.
