Our coach, 2008 Intrigue 530, Country Coach # 12250. I've noticed that my fresh water tank is filling even when I have the value set for city water, Is my value defective? Would appreciate any help.
Thanks

Work the valve several times. Sometimes they get something in them that keeps them from fully closing. Cycling can wash it clean and allow full seating. Most times this works.

It is my understanding that the valve is opened only when you want to fill the tank, otherwise your coach water supply and pressure is provided by the city connection.
Hope I have not misunderstood your question.

Hi I ran into the same issue....the tank filled and overflowed despite being set for city H2o. The check valve in my pump was the issue. Replaced the water pump and problem solved. BTW, my water pump seemed to cycle occasionally before the replacement, indicating I was losing prime backwards to the tank. If this is not happening to you, you must also consider the switching valve at the inlet as faulty.
Good luck
