Our front slide is sticking in the top rear corner. Yesterday it took several tries to get it to retract. It comes in crooked. I have the info on a manual retraction but was wondering if anyone has ever had to do it and how hard was it to do? If it refuses to coming in tomorrow when we pull out we wont put it out again until it's fixed. Subject to getting it in at all!! Living with no slide wont be the end of the world!
We have tried to get dealers to fix it but they run when they hear about the gear in the top of the slide. Too hard so they pass. One dealer is prepared to try but says he needs to order an equalizing valve. (He spoke to HWH about the problem).

Thanks

Bruce

The tenting mech. on my colorado slide awning came loose on one corner and caused the slide to bindup when retracting on a top corner. If you have the tents under your awning for your slide Get a ladder and check under the awning when the slide is extended to see if one corner came loose.
Simple fix.

Extend the slide and loosened the slide awning and replace the screw that came out. I put an extra screw in each assembly for mine while I had the awning out of the way.
