Well, I did it... After spending the weekend with lots of time to sort out the various discrepancies, I took it to Cat this morning and got a clean bill of health with the computer. I have numerous small issues to handle myself, but nothing earth shattering and it's home in the garage.
I have tried to search much of what I needed, but can't find all the answers, so these questions will probably be repeats for you ole timers.
1. The Hurricane heater has 2(according to the drawing)circulation pumps, one in the bay with the inverter and the other in the bay with the heater. These pumps are 12v and seem to be hard wired, running all the time, whether the heater is on or off. Doesn't matter if the ignition is on or off, they run continuously. Does anyone know the fuse or relay location so I can disable the pumps until winter time? I've been through the books and can't find the wire number H8 or it's source. I fail to see the logic of these pumps running without the heater operating. I've had previous CC's with Agua-Hot and I don't recall any full time pumps running with the heater off.
2. Anyone found a solution for a fix to the shaky, jumpy, loosy goosy, chrome pealing crappy mirrors? I think there Velvac, Ramco was just as bad. Need to tighten up the glass some how.

check the control box in the Hurricane bay. There is a rocker switch on the side of the panel.

Just wondering if you ever found a solution for the shaky Velvac mirrors? I have simular issues with my 2002.

Yes I made an improvement by cutting a small piece of the black rubber foam tubing used to insulate AC freon lines at Home Depot. They have a sticky tape and when placed around the outside of the glass and snug to the mirror frame, the shaking stopped. You really couldn't see it, since it was black and tucked into the space.
Unfortunately, I sold 5999 and it was later wrecked and totaled. Thankfully, Jerry and Juree were OK, the other vehicle didn't fair so well with multiple fatalities. It wasn't Jerry's fault.
By the way, unless yours has been changed, did you know your mirror heat and circulation pump for the Hurricane is on any time the key is on. I pulled the fuse, then later installed a switch.

Had minor mirror shake but recently replaced both mirror bases and arms. After tightening up everything no more shake. By the way our mirror bases and arms were in bad shape. Chrome peeling etc. Took pictures of the Coach and a couple of closeups of the bases. Emailed Velvac Corp. Quick response from them and although our Coach ('02) was long out of warrentee they offered new parts at cost. Recall bases were about $84 each. The arms we got out of Northwest RV Parts in Eugene Or. Arms were new and believe $65 each. Really liked doing business with Velvac and NW.

Rich, it could of been a combination of things and not just replacing the mirror Base and Arms. I had knocked my front end out going to Alaska and the front tires chopped up pretty good. We got new tires and front end aligned and balanced then replaced the Mirror parts. When replacing the Base and Arms did not notice any bolting to be loose. The actual mirror is just clipped in. If it is shaking really bad I would call Velvac and see what they recommend.

I think something is awry with your Hurricane pumps. At least on my 2002 they do not run unless the Hurricane is running or the ignition is on. You will run down your batteries in no time if they run all the time.

I have the Hurricane model CO45XL and once had a problem with a continuously running circulator pump inside the Huricane unit. If the two electric elements were on, and the HW switch over the door was off or on, the pump would run. Ended up having to change that pump. The culprit turned out to be one of the thirmisters (sp?) inside the unit, which was changed. Now, the pump will not run if the HW switch is off.

The reason the circulation pump at the Hurricane unit in the rear was running with the key off, was it had a switch set to the maintenance position. This switch setting is designed to run the pump continuously while diagnosing a problem. Once changed, pump stopped running.
Rich - The pump that ran all the time with the key on was in the inverter bay and shared the same fuse as the mirror heat located under the driver. Maybe they changed it on your o2.

On my Affinity it has the hurricane heater also. On the control board there is a jumper for checking out the pumps which will cause it to run continuiosly. The jumper was on mine causing the pumps to run all the time, now they run when the ignition is on.

I thought you were talking about the Hurricane pump. The one you are referring to that (normally) runs with the ignition on is, I believe, your dash heat circulation pump. On my coach there are two. They are on the same fuse as the mirror heat. I pulled the wires to the pumps. I can still bake my ass of with dash heat without them.
