Hi,
I have a 2000 Allure with the Cummins ISC 330. My Sauer-Danfoss fan motor and controller have both gone out. The local Cummins shop says they are not repairable and replacements are no longer available. In coming to this conclusion, they talked with Oregon Motorcoach, Specialty Logistics, and S-D in Britain. So, they have to design and install a replacement system. Do any of you have experience with doing this? Recommendations?
Thx,
Brian

Brian, don't know the Cummins shop you are in, but I'd highly recommend contacting John Wolf @ Cummins in Coburg, Oregon. He is the absolute expert with Cummins engines and this type problem with Country Coach products.
There number is 541-685-0800

Hi Brian, I was told the same thing about my inverter (Heart Interface) that they were no longer in business and needed a new one. Finally got a break, and was turned toward a man in SD, CA that rebuilds them. He might be able to direct you. It was $450 v 2500 for the new system. His contact info is: FUGE Electronics TEL: 619-992-5932. His first name is Pat. He does great work, if he can't help direct, hope he has a referral for you. A TECH AT Escondido RV turned me to Pat. Might call them too. Good Luck, Hal Sullivan Intrigue #10641

Brian, I "thought I needed a Sauer-Danfoss fan controller for my CC because the fan ran at full speed all the time, cold or hot. So I was able to find one at: SunSource - Savage Distribution 12800 Hwy 13 South
Suite 100
Savage, Mn. 55378
Sorry I don't have a phone # , but the part # was 553109857190 & is called a Dynamatic Fan Control VA.
As it turned out the controller was not the problem, There was no problem with any of the hydraulic parts...just that Country Coach, for whatever reason wanted the fan to run at full speed so they restricted the bypass lines running to the controller, thereby causing the fan to operate as though the engine was @ 190+ degrees.
The part took quite a while to get...and was unnecessarily spendy, I fixed it with a 3/16" drill bit! Live and Learn. Hope this helps.

I believe that this is the same person who was able to modify a Xantrex RC/GS so that it would work with my old Xantrex inverter. The RC7-GS has been discontinued and I would have had to go to a new inverter and new remote control panel if this modification was not available. Chris Snyder in Tucson knew of this guy in San Diego and had all of this done for me.
