We have a 2002 40'Allure #30792 purchased in February 2002.We noticed fluid leaking onto the ground in the area around the propane tank. We found it was actually coming from the hydraulic lines located above the tank. We had it checked and HWH sent the service shop a new connector and a manual crimper. We had the problem again about a week later, but a different line. Country Coach contacted HWH again and HWH sent a mechanic within a week with all new 1/4" lines for the front slide room. He spent three days replacing all of the lines.I was told that HWH realized they had had received inferior lines from a new supplier that affected coaches built during an approximated 6 month period. Our coach was built in October/November 2002.
Country Coach and HWH were excellent to work with and my lines have not been leaking thus far. Hope this info will help those of you that may own coaches built during the problem period. Perhaps a contact with HWH to learn the exact time period of defective hoses would be helpful. We love our coach and cannot wait to hit the road again!!
