Dometic NDR 1062 (2 door 3 2way) not cooling below 50 degrees during day. At night lowest is 44 degrees. Freezer ok. Checked everything we could. Anyone have experience with changing thermistor or control board? Also any recommendations for service in Kings Bay or Savannah GA area? Also anyone changed Dometic to Norcold AC/DC only??? Don't want to do any cabinet work.

I have a NDR 1492. The Thermistor is a strange sensor in the NDR series. To adjust the temperatuer lower you have to slide the thermistor up. IF you what to raise the temp. up you slide the thermistor down. Seems like you have to move the thermistor in the wrong direction to me but it does work. When you move the thermistor up or down just barely move it. With ours it takes two days for the adjustment to affect the tempature.
Hope this helps.

The thermistor is on the 2nd fin from right and all the way at the top. Is the thermistor supposed to actually touch the fin or sense the temp of the air inside the fridge? Lonny & Diane

The thermistor touches the fins.
