We have a 2008 allure #31619 with a cummins ISL 425 engine. Whats the average time and miles between oil changes? Thanks Mike

I would ask Cummins, and do an oil analysis once a year.

Consult your owners manual for the motor. You will find something that says annually or at xxxxxx miles. If you don't drive much, then you should change the oil annually.

Unless you do a lot more more driving than 99% of RV'ers in the country you will not reach the oil change mileage limit (ours is 20,000 miles). Your engine maunal will probably tell you annual changes are required if the mileage isn't met.
Considering the cost of repairing/replacing a diesel engine I would not ignore the annual frequency advice without at least oil testing and you need to know that doing that you are 100% on your own versus any potential assistance from the manufacturer if there is a problem.
Using synthetic provides no advantage for any manufacturer I am aware of either. The oil manufacturer may tell you different but the engine manufacturer will probably not.
Bypass filtration is an interesting option but the expense would not break even for us ever. The engine manufacturers don't support bypass filtration as a way of extending service either.
If your engine is beyond the warranty it's up to you but remember, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is or could cost you more than suggested oil changes.

Mike,
My coach is serviced at Cummins and they recommend every 10K. I have the same motor and coach as you.

My Cummins is older than yours but my manual says 15000 miles or annual whichever comes first.
