We are trying to split the difference on a trip from Morgan Hill, CA to Tucson, AZ. The Stagecoach KOA is almost exactly half-way using the 58 to 395 Tehachapi route. Anyone stayed there?

We have stayed there with our group at least 6 times. Nice folks.
Sites are level, mostly pull-through, but not paved. Lots of trees.
Watch out though, there is one section without sewer hookups (only electric and water).
Have fun - and you can shop at the outlet mall at Cabazon, only about 5 miles down I10!

If you are just stopping for a night, go a little farther and stop at one of the casinos at the east end of Indio. They have large parking lots where you can dry camp for free.
