We have a beautiful '99 Magna, which has caused us no major problems. So, why trade it in for a newer model?? We've decided to remodel/update the interior. We are hoping you can give us some advice from your experiences......has anyone taken out the mirror tile on the walls in the kitchen area and replaced it with ceramic tile?? Is it difficult to take up that mirror tile? Ours is "showing it's age". Would the ceramic tile make it feel more closed in? We are also debating about replacing the carpet in the sitting area and bedroom - we have tile in the galley through the bathroom/shower area - We will put tile in the entrance way, but do not want it in the other areas. We are considering putting in new carpet or laminate flooring. Any suggestions?? The "viva Las Vegas" lights around our windows, the bulbs are slowly burning out. I know in the past there has been postings on the rope lights and where to get them. Is installation easy?? Where can we buy these? Since we live in SW New Mexico, we are going to check on a RV remodeling company in Tucson to do the flooring. Has anyone had this work done in Tucson?

Debbie and Bob -

You might wish to contact Eric Olstrom at Premier Motor Coach Services in Tucson, 520 225-8155. I am sure that he can answer many of your questions and give you some helpful hints. He is a former CC Tech.
We have friends who recently had extensive remodeling done by Eric and if you would like to speak with them, please let me know.

Bob and Debby,

An alternative source for your flooring needs would be Ernie Ekberg in Weatherford, Texas. You can see pictures of Ernie's work at his web site
www.ernieekbergflooring.net . Ernie also travels almost anywhere; he is presently somewhere in Ohio and I know he plans to travel to Arizona and California in January.

Ernie worked on our coach at his house (which has 50 amp and water available). He removed tile and carpet and replaced with engineered wood flooring. He is a craftsman of the first water and a nice guy to boot. We could not be happier with his work. He transformed our coach (pictures are on his site). His fees are very reasonable.
