I removed my refrigerator to fix some rotted wood due to a leak. I did not do anything to the refrig. After putting everything back together the refrig. now doesn't work. I have power at the outlet but nothing at the panel on the refrig.

Any help woud be appreciated.

Hi Friend, When I bought my 99 Allure three years ago I replaced rotted wood at the fridge door outside and the Ice Maker Plastic water line from the fill sol. to the Icemaker fill tube. Required walking the fridge in the rig and installing this heat taped line. Same problem a few days later as your's. CHECK ALL GROUND'S! my rig was in Tampa Florida and lots of humidity and rain. Fridge still is working fine on Gas and Electric! My brand is Dometic. Ken 99 Allure 30356! In Yuma for the winter

There is a 12 volt DC fuse somewhere. Mine is in the last bay on PAX side where the fuel filters are. The frige "eyebrow" panel and inside light work off 12 volts. The frige will not cool unless you have both 12 volts dc and 120 volts ac available. At least thats how my Dometic NDR1292 works.

Larry,

The fridge will cool on gas without 120 volts I believe, but will not work at all without 12 volts dc. The controller uses 12 volts.

Yes Don, you are correct. I guess I was focusing on electric only. Hope I didn't confuse the issue too much.

Don:

Ihave a 2000 Allure and my friend has a 1999 also a Allure. When this has happen to both of us. We go out side and look in the back of the unit and there is a black box and we take the cover off with a screw driver and you can see there is 3 Fues in there . One of them gets the 12 D c to the unit. Just fine it and check them out and the one that is bad but a new one in and on your way. It does need the 12 V Dc to work off the gas.
We both have had to redo the 12 DC wire to ground. GOOD LUCK. Dan 2000 Allure #30498 If you would like any more infor PLEASE call or use my e mail add. 702-277-3148
