Please refrain for any comments about waist size :-), BUT:

Anyone had the problem with the seat belts getting progressively tighter and tighter as you run down the road? OUCH!!!

As requested..... no comment on girth size.
My drivers side belt works fine (except for hitting my neck) but my navigator has that same problem. I haven't asked CC about it but it must be the centrifugal lock being mal-functioning. Maybe someone else will know if it is adjustable.

My wife ordered a seat belt extension from CC and it helps. She also uses a bag clip used to close food bags to hold the belt from tightening.

Our seat belts would get rather tight as we went down the highway. We were at the Villa Furniture factory and they gave us some extentions that are about 6-8 inches with a male and female buckle ends to use.
The seat belt mechanism used is a General Motors part. There is no way, according to Villa, to release any of the tension. It looks like the extentions are a GM part also. CC was going to send us some but I guess that went by the wayside.

My wife had a similar problem with her seat. The belt was not long enough where she could move the seat forward all the way. She likes to raise the leg rest and put her feet on the dash. Royale found a longer belt and solved the problem. They did the same thing for us on our 2000 royale.
