I am looking for parts for my Oasis elite door awning. Probably the motor as it only runs for a few seconds and stops like it is hot. It will run intermittently. Has anyone see this issue?

Steve

Hi Steve

Oh yes I had the same problem my electric door awning is not inoperative, I still have the manual extend/retract mode,I priced a new motor, and its cheaper to buy another door awning $900.00 for a stinking motor. so I will live the rest of my life with a manual awning. The only 2 things I absolutely hate on my coach are the door awning and Patio awning, both A&E

The awning was made by Fiamma, you maybe able to get a motor assembly from them. When I get

home in a few weeks I'll look up a former employee of Dometic who has one of the motors in his

garage. He wanted $250. My problem was what I call the clutch that connects the roller with the

material to the universal driven by the motor.
TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731. I gave up and had Zip Dee

install a manual door awning. Now I have to have The Paint department fill the holes and match the

paint where the old awning was mounted.
