Top of the morning group. Gordo here.
I'm headed to Gilroy Ca. this weekend (got to love last minute point n shoot MoHo Road trips)
After looking around at RV parks online, I thought I'd ask if anyone has visited any around here, and what their take is. We are visiting Bonfontaine Gardens, AKA: Gilroy Gardens. Bringing tow car, would like to, not have to, drive forever to visit Bonfontaine Gardens.
Time is of the essence, cause I'm so darn last minute on this one (be thankful you aren't me) Cheers!

Hi Gordo, We use Betabel. About eight miles south of Gilroy on route 101. This time of year there will be no problems with space.

FYI. If you look at the map you will see San Juan Bautista is just a few miles east. A good place to visit if you have not been there. Allow three hours to go through the Mission, museum, browse the antique stores and lunch.

Recommend La Jardines San Juan Bautista for lunch. About one block west of the mission.

And don't forget the St. Andreas fault line, it runs right alongside the east side of the mission.

There are also two other parks in Morgan Hill north of Gilroy. The Park at the foot of the dam is supposed to be nice. The other is just off 101 at the south end of town.

Have a fun trip.

Hey Gordo,

Here is another suggestion: Thousand Trails, Morgan Hill, 12895 Uvas Rd., Morgan Hill, CA 95037, 408.778.1143.
This was a "members only" park until this year. At this time they are welcoming non-members for fee camping. No sales pitch involved! They have a huge pool with perimeter solar screen shading and 298 fairly nice campsites. They offer water and 30 Amps only but, they have honey wagon service if required. We visited for a week in August this year for the first time. The park is about 10 minutes away from Gilroy Gardens and there are vineyards all over the place. Their main feature is LOCATION. It is well into the country but close to all of the happenings in Gilroy and Morgan Hill. Ask about the farmers markets and the fresh mushrooms at the nearby mushroom farm "back door sales booth". Excellent and super cheap.
BTW, If you like Chinese Buffets, there is the best I have ever experienced near Costco and the outlet stores in Gilroy. It just opened this year. Moderate pricing, excellent variety and really good food.
We loved that whole area and are definitly going to return soon.
