I think my tires are running out of time. In two weeks we will be moving from the Denver area to Tucson and I was thinking I would look for a shop along the route to get the job done. I would be willing to add up to 250 miles to my drive to get be sure of finding the right shop. Some time ago there was a recommendation of an alignment shop in St. George, UT, Hatch Alignment Doctor. Is that still a good recommendation? Any others?
As far as tires are concerned, I'm thinking about the Michelin brand. Les Schwab in J/City gave me what sounded like a great price, with no sales tax, but that would add 2,000 miles to my trip. The big tire dealer in Denver, TDS, could not provide the Michelin.
That's a long winded way of asking for a tire/alignment source in CO, UT, NM, southern NV or AZ. Thanks.

Tucson has a shop that can handle alignment including the rear wheels if required. It's the International dealer on Flowing Wells south of Miracle Mile. It used to be McCandless, now I think it has a different name. I think there is one in Phoenix, not sure if they do front and back wheel alignment.
We've used them twice.

The name of the place in Tucson, McCandless, is now RWC International. Looks like they have a place in Phoenix also. We've used the one in Tucson several time for both alignment and service. This time however we used WW Williams in Tucson, across the street, an Allison shop, had a good deal on both transmission service and LOF.

I just purchased two Michelin's at Jack Furrier's in Tucson. I don't know what other brands they carry but the Michelin's were on sale. Their phone number is 520-748-1880.
