I am about to become the proud owner of a 2007 Country Coach. I am looking for any recommendations for a pre-purchase inspection in Rockford, IL.

Get 2 testing kits from oil analyzers and have the engine and tranny oil tested they will give you a very detailed report on the condition of the oil it will show all the trace elements in the oil and what the acceptable levels are well worth the 100 bucks

You might want to contact Oregon Motorcoach Center in Oregon - 800-942-6860. This is Bob Lee's company. If you have the coach year model and number, it is possible they can go through the CC intellectual property records they purchased to find out what warranty work was done on the unit. Also, have a complete engine analysis done by either CAT or Cummins. IT will give you the entire history of repair, if listed, plus it will give you a 15-20 page printout of any faults the engine has experienced.
Personally, I'd pay a surveyor to go over the coach completely. They will test all the appliances, check for water leaks, any collision damage. And give you a complete written report. You can get the name of surveyors from lending agencies. The cost is about $250.
Good luck, and be prepared to walk away from a deal if the facts indicate you should.
