Hi,
A few days ago I asked about the energy management system and no one responded. I thought I would follow up with what I know now.
I contacted Intellitec but they do not give technical support (they claim due to liability) to end users but they directed me to an ex employee who does and charges by the minute on the phone. Vic was very good and very concise. There website has an excellent service manual on it in PDF
DO NOT REMOVE THE FRONT COVER OF THE ELECTRICAL CONTROL PANEL AS IT CONTAINS DANGEROUS 240 VOLT HIGH CURRENT ELECTRICITY.
The ems is a luxury item and an experienced every day household electrician can easily bypass the ems circuits and wire the appliances direct to the circuit breakers. I was forced to do this as the circuit board with the shedding relays was burnt up. I have one on order but they are backordered. I will have the ems put back in as it is a convenience I would like to have. Without the EMS I have to remember to manage the current usage when I only have 30 amps available.
