I pulled the trigger and I am the proud owner of a 2005 Allure 470 Siskiyou Summit. It has 39,000 miles and is in great shape. I was wondering what kind of wax and tire dressing you folks use? I want to get a good coat on her before the weather tuns.

I use a good car wax-possibly a cleaner wax. Meguire is good although I used Turtle Wax Liquid last with good results.
I have used a product called 303 Protectant on all my vehicles tires & rubber & vinal. It is a space age product & has no petroleum in it. Have fun with your new purchase!

Congrats on the new rig. I'm fan of all things Zaino. Do a search for Zaino Brothers wax. My recommendation to start off fresh: -Wash the rig with Dawn dishwashing lotion. It cuts any lingering wax or coats, to provide a good bond.
-Do touch up as needed on rough areas. Polishing compound, or clay bar.
-If the surface coat is bad with fine scratches or swirls, then rent a good orbital buffer, and hit it with the Zaino All-In-One. It will clean, lightly buff and wax at the same time.
-If the surface coat looks good. Then I like ZCS. What is neat about ZCS is you wipe it on, and walk away. (I call it 'Wax-on, No Wax-off!'). ZCS has one of the best UV protectants you can get.
-I also use ZCS on the windows. It's like super Rain X...
-I touch up between washes, with a micro towel and Z8.
Zaino also has a tire dressing I use too, as I like how it does not leave the 'coated shiney look' that some tire dressings do. It goes on easy, and soaks in. A medium to flat gloss, but more important, it protects. That being said, I also like 303, I feel it is a good product to use too.
Also straying from Zaino (used on our cars and trucks now for 10+ years), I have a test panel on the RV with Eagle One Nano Wax protectant. Easy on, and it did come off easy too. The luster of the shine is not as rich as Zaino's, but on big surfaces like the RV, I want to see how long it lasts...
Good luck, enjoy your new rig,
Smitty

JH, I use Meguiars Cleaner Wax, comes in a maroon colored bottle and 303 on my tires. I suggest keeping you coach beautiful following waxing by using a Waterless Wash & Wax. Go to www.washwax.com for info.
