I have a 99 Intrigue and had to replace the water pump last winter due to the fact that the pump was allowing water to seep past the pump and overfill the fresh water tank when connected to city water. On my return trip from the CCI Myrtle Beach rally yesterday I discovered that when the pump is on water is pours out of the fresh water input connection. The fresh water tank is only roughly 1/2 full.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Have you checked the water regulator?

Gene, the city water connection not only connects the hose to the coach water system. It also acts as a pressure regulator and a back flow preventer. It sounds like the backflow function has failed. Try taping the connectors with a mallet or some other non destructive hammer like device. If that doesn't work stick a screwdriver into the device from the outside and see if you can free up the backflow preventer.

Gene, sorry for the short reply - run away finger! If George's suggestion doesn't help, the whole connection can be replaced easily. I found one at Camping World.

Gene The back flow valve on the city water line is stuck open. There may be debris however most likely it is shot.

If you replace your regulator go for the #65 pound version.

George, all of my 12VDC house fuses are located in the fuse box in the passenger side rear service bay.

Good luck.

George,
Thanks, with help I found the box in the cabinet across from the frig. Small black box next to the 110 breakers. Always knew it was there, never knew what it was.
Turns out my pump was frozrn. Took about a half hour with a ceramic heater but all is ok. Big Blue finally fully winterized and asleep until January 29th.
