Hello
In my 95 Magna, there are panels at tje top of the shower and in the dash in front of the navigator chair that appear to be held in place by vinyl covered fasteners.
I would like to remove the panel in the dash wall but do not want to mess up the appearance for the future.
Has anyone removed these successfully without damaging the vinyl? Are these pressure fasteners or screw fasteners under the vinyl covers?
How did you do it?
Thanks
Dean

Dean: I have these off all the time. No problem. Just put a little flat blade screwdriver under the cap and pop it off. Uderneath is a phillips screw.

Vinyl covers in our Intrigue dash are snap covers over the screw head. I just pop them off with the flat blade of a screw driver or my pocket knife blade. Enjoy and good luck

Do not push your tool (screwdriver, knife blade, etc.) to far under the cap. Otherwise, you will deform or break the snap portion of the screw cap. Just catch the edge of the cap with the blade of a small- medimum screwdriver. Cordless screwdriver works great to remove the screws because the screws are about 1-1/2 inches long screwed into the wood frame around the opening.
