After many hours of work in a cramped space I finally got the blower motor out from under the dash. The motor is a Fasco 2809-550-018 12V dual shaft. The motor is 3" in diameter, 4 1/8" long and the 5/8" diameter shafts total 11 3/4" in length (including the motor). The two squirrel cages are 3 7/16 " long and 4 1/2" wide. The squirrel cage type fans were protected by plastic shrouds. I have not been able to locate a replacement motor. I haven't been able to reach or get a return call from someone at KPH Holdings in Canada who might be able to help me. I also have a couple of local RV dealerships looking for me. I have parts and screws all over the front of the coach and I know my wife can't wait for me to complete this project. Me too!
I hope to replace the motor and fans, actually I would prefer to replace everything I pulled out. It took so much work to get it out, I want every thing that goes back in to be new so I don't ever have to see it again.

Any suggestions as to a source would be appreciated.

Gene, this is from a message I posted on this group this summer regarding SCS part sources. Start with these outfits:

First of all there is Victory Climate. Some of the SCS employees actually work there and they have some records of what they supplied CC. Ask for Linda 817-293-3331

Gene,

I found this web site with the part number you found on your motor. It gives all the specs which might help you to find an alternate to FASCO motor, if indeed they don't make it any more:
http://www.fasco.com/dcmotor4.asp (http://www.fasco.com/dcmotor4.asp)
You could also send FASCO an email at fascohelp@... (fascohelp@...)

Gene,

Here is another company which deals in the motors and blower assemblys, they may be able to help with the squirrel cages and motor.
