To update all those that have been so helpful on this board, I was told by The Fisher Paykel technical services rep that DD24 drawer dishwasher would have no problems with modified sine wave inverter use, when I questioned them further concerning the use of a processor controlled system the technical rep said it was designed to run on motorhome inverter power and that power must be maintained on the drawer for the lock to keep drawer closed during travel. The requirement he cited was that sufficient wattage was available for use off the inverter. I then contacted Xantrex technical service and explained my intended use of the freedom 458 2000. He stated that while the inverter may not be able to carry the load it would definitely not damage the unit. Let me reiterate from my former post, I do not desire to operate the dishwasher on inverter power but on this model if the drawer is opened it will automatically energize the control circuits and light up the led readout. One of the incentives for installing this product is so we can stop wasting water to wash and rinse after each meal and keep dirty dishes from rattling around in the sink all day therefore I am sure that the drawer will e opened during the day to load dirty dishes when generator/shore power is not applied. I cannot try the inverter until this weekend and will make a decision with regard to re-routing the clothes washer power to the unit at that time. Any one with experience in running a circuit from clothes washer closet to kitchen slide? thanks again for your helpful comments. David White 99 Allure # 30349
